Baltimore MD - Crystal Palace FC USA announces a change in venue, along with further details of their US Open Cup 3rd round match against the New York Red Bulls of MLS, scheduled for Tuesday July 1st at 7:30pm. This “David and Goliath” encounter will be played at Lawrence E. Knight Stadium, on the grounds of Broadneck High School in Annapolis. Palace USA President and Co-Manager Pete Medd explained: "With our home stadium not being available, we are extremely pleased to find a suitable, alternative venue. I think it will provide a great atmosphere for this historic match."
The stadium has a brand new Field Turf surface and seats 3,000 people. Fans are advised to purchase tickets now as the game is expected to sell out. Tickets are priced at $16 - the same as for Crystal Palace’s home league matches - and children aged 5 and under are admitted free. Individual tickets can be purchased in advance by clicking the Tickets link on the left . Group tickets are also available (minimum 10) at $14 per ticket by calling 410.933.8326. Ample parking is available on site at a cost of $5 per vehicle.
